Core AIML Club Goals for Spring 2026

Build Impact and Community at TU

  • Foster momentum and continuity, creating a lasting presence that extends beyond any single semester or officer cohort.
  • Help TU students (including ourselves) stand out in their careers, succeed professionally, and develop meaningful connections across disciplines.

Lower Barriers and Expand Access

  • Connect students with on/off campus resources, knowledge, and funding opportunities
  • Make AI more accessible across all majors and disciplines

Core AIML Club Goals for Spring 2026

Raise Awareness and Educate with Nuance

  • Help educate the TU community about AI's benefits and dangers with minimal bias.
  • Dispell misinformation and reduce irrationally negative attitudes about AI
  • Help students learn to use AI safely and responsibly
  • Work with artists and other non-technical students to learn how to use AI as an augmentive tool rather than a replacement
  • Encourage conscious consumption of AI tools (considering environmental impacts, privacy, etc.)

Faculty and Student AI Community of Practice

Our next club meeting will be Friday, February 13. Between now and then, Henneke Center and the Student Government Association (SGA) are hosting a Faculty and Student AI Community of Practice meeting.

"These discussions will bring together faculty and students to discuss AI in the classroom and higher education. It is a wonderful chance to learn from TU students about how they are using AI, their concerns about AI use, and what they want faculty to know."
